beneath the fresh green roof of spring...
between the sad grey blocks of industry...
the occupied Lappersfort forest in Brugge, Belgium
will be home to a weekend festival of DIY, recycled,
home-made and earth-grown creations...
learn and share in the life of the forest!
workshops include...
permaculture, forest foods, herbal medicine, tree climbing and walkways, lock-ons and direct action, juggling, acrobatics and general joyish foolishness!
also discussions about lappersfortbos and other forest occupations...
there is a theater and cabaret space, where all are invited to talk, laugh, juggle, dance, walk upside down...
there's a big, empty, spring-cleaned warehouse with lots of space for live bands, as well as room for graffiti, painting and any kind of displays/exhibitions.
you can also...
create yourself an outfit in the unfashion dressup room...
build in the bicycle workshop..
get brainwashed in the propaganda tent...
sweat out the city's toxins in the sweatlodge...
cook and enjoy communal food...
this is a community DIY fest and all are invited to give a workshop, perform, play, or simply enjoy..do your thing!
